I tried to capture the beauty of nature in my Summer Meadows Greeting Card which is based on one of my wild flower monotype prints. This card showcases the intricate details and vibrant colours of wild meadow flowers, bringing the essence of summer to life.

Crafted with a strong commitment to the environment, my greeting cards are printed on FSC-certified card stock sourced from sustainable forests. I believe in working with nature, not against it, which is why my cards are thoughtfully designed to be plastic-free, minimising their impact on the planet.

The original printmaking process used to create this exquisite card involved the meticulous layering of multiple layers of inks, resulting in a rich texture that echoes the depth and intricacy of the natural world. Each flower shape was meticulously hand-cut from acetate, and inked up separately and laid onto the main plate. Pre-printed paper hand-cut shapes were also delicately collaged onto the print, enhancing the overall visual appeal.

My greeting cards have moved to an entirely, 100% environmentally friendly (non-plastic and sustainable paper) card.

• The card itself is FSC certified and comes in a zero plastic, matt finish which more faithfully replicates the original artwork.

• The envelope is Eco Kraft Brown (115gsm paper) 100% recycled. It looks the part with a sustainable greeting card.

• The card and envelope are kept together with a neat tag which is also from an FSC paper source allowing us to dispense with the worst offender, the single-use plastic wrapper.
