INSPIRATION

The mystique of ancient Neolithic sites has captured my imagination. My semi-abstract landscape art print is inspired by the enigmatic remnants of Northumberland National Park's Neolithic sites like Yeavering Bell and Lorden Shaw. The misty quality of this print attempts to encapsulate the whispers of history and legends I get when standing on the site of these places. Having lived on the park's edge, I've walked these hills, felt their stories. Bumps, ditches, rock carvings, and standing stones echo solstice celebrations of the past. As myths unfold, I now draw inspiration from the Isle of Bute's discoveries. This print might resonate with your own echoes with the ancient and the unknown.
