Things To Bear In Mind
While I suggest a holiday time window of May to September you can plan to come between October and April as long as you bear in mind that during the autumn/winter months we are more susceptible to the vagaries of stormy weather. Calmac Ferry departures from Wemyss Bay can either be suspended at short notice, or depart from Gourock depending on wind direction. Again dependant on the weather and wind direction, it is possible to divert toward Dunoon and catch the Colintraive/Rhubadoch ferry at the north end of the island. You just need to be prepared for such eventualities and build flexibility into your plans with me and your accommodation provider.
