New Work in Progress

AirBnB Flat In Rothesay

Released from Lockdown

Our accommodation while we were on the Isle Of Bute overlooking the town of Rothesay

I’ve begun a new body of work after many, many months. So much has happened in the last 15 months and yet also so little.

Chris and I took a four day trip to the Isle of Bute when the restrictions were lifted. I had ground myself to a standstill working twelve hour days, seven days a week since March 2020 (more or less). The break may have been short but it was a real tonic, just what the doctor ordered. I came back refreshed and ready to make something new.

Here’s a flavour of the trip that got the old creative juices flowing again.

The Isle Of Bute is easily accessible from Glasgow via a short ferry ride from Wemyss Bay. It is 15 miles long and less than 5 miles wide yet it is packed with ancient history from the Neolithic period through to early Christianity.
