INSPIRATION
"On The Hunt VIII" explores the owl, a symbol of mystery and strength, hunting over the landscape near Bamburgh Castle. This work builds on my earlier focus on the endangered curlew, deepening my connection to local birds. Living on the Isle of Bute and in Northumberland, I'm inspired by the diverse avian life and dramatic coastlines that serve as their homes. Through this print, I aim to highlight the beauty and significance of these creatures, many of which are endangered due to human impact. My goal is to encourage appreciation for wildlife and our duty to protect their habitats for future generations.
