Lindisfarne At Dawn | Limited Edition Giclée Print
Lindisfarne At Dawn | Limited Edition Giclée Print
INSPIRATION
‘Lindisfarne At Dawn’ showcases Lindisfarne Castle's silhouette rising from the mist on the Northumberland coast. Built on Holy Island using stones from Lindisfarne Priory after the dissolution of monasteries by King Henry VIII, it was later fortified by Elizabeth I. The island holds a rich Celtic Christian history dating back to the 6th century with Saints Aidan, Cuthbert, Eadfrith, and Eadberht bringing Celtic Christianity from Ireland and Iona. The original handmade print was part of a variable edition of 20, where I explore different colour palettes to convey various moods, seasons, and times of day.
The original print size is 30 cm x 30 cm. Other sizes are available on request starting at 20 cm x 20 cm. Email for a bespoke size quote or check other prints on the Giclée Print page for size pricing.
