"Nesting In the Breeze III"

This print, titled "Nesting In the Breeze III," is the final piece in a series of three prints that utilize the monotype printmaking medium to depict contemporary seascapes. Created from the ghost image of its predecessors, this semi-abstract artwork showcases a color palette of yellow, turquoise, and purples inspired by the unique silhouette of the curlew bird.

The focal point of the print captures two curlews scouring the pebble-patterned shoreline for sustenance, with floating feathers adding a sense of movement to the scene. While one of the three prints in this series has already been sold, "Nesting In the Breeze III" showcases the unique beauty of utilizing ghost images and vibrant colours to bring the curlew and pebble textures to life.
