Callanish I | Limited Edition Giclée Print
Callanish I | Limited Edition Giclée Print
INSPIRATION
‘Callanish’ is a reproduction of an original landscape fine art print. Anyone who loves The Western Isles of Scotland and is drawn to the archaeological history of standing stones and stone circles may want to bring a piece of it into for their home or office space. Irish artist, Carol Nunan, who now lives on one of the Western Isles on The Isle of Bute created the semi-abstract monotype/collagraph, the original print on which this print is based and inspired by the view at dawn standing amongst the standing stones of Callanish.
“A few years ago we had a wonderful break on the Isle of Harris and had a lovely day out on the Isle of Lewis where Callanish can be found. I have a particular fondness for the Hebridean Islands. We have had many wonderful holidays on both inner and outer Hebrides from the Isle of Arran, Colonsay, Islay, the Isles of Harris and Lewis, Eigg and Mull. There’s still many more to visit.”
