INSPIRATION

Callanish is a piece of wall art for anyone who loves The Western Isles of Scotland and want to bring a piece of it into for your home or office space. Irish artist, Carol Nunan, who works in the UK created this semi-abstract monotype/collagraph, which is an original print inspired by the view at dawn standing amongst the standing stones of Callanish.

“A few years ago we had a wonderful break on the Isle of Harris and had a lovely day out on the Isle of Lewis where Callanish can be found. I have a particular fondness for the Hebridean Islands. We have had many wonderful holidays on both inner and outer Hebrides from the Isle of Arran, Colonsay, Islay, the Isles of Harris and Lewis, Eigg and Mull. There’s still many more to visit.”
